Veteran singer Sudesh Bhosale launched his dream project, Gravity Studios, a feature-rich recording studio alongside a live room, along with the music launch of the film “ULTE”. The story is about a common villager, who is the butt of everyone’s jokes for his upstanding character. The story picks steam when he finds out about bogus voters and decides to expose this wrong-doing. The route he takes and the hurdles he crosses in this mission forms the crux of the film, which is treated in a light-hearted comic manner…

मस्सकली का प्रयास भारतीय हॅन्डलूम बुनकर को सशक्त बनाना, इसमे शबाना आज़मी, भाग्यश्री और शर्मिला ठाकरे ने दिया साथ

 

भारतीय हॅन्डलूम उद्योग को पुनर्जीवित करने और पैठणी बुनकर महिलाओं की शिल्पकारी को पुरुजीवित रखने के लिए, श्रद्धा सावंत और उनकी संस्था मस्सकली ने मुंबई में एक प्रदर्शनी का आयोजन किया. जिसमें ५०० से अधिक हॅन्डलूम साड़ियों समावेश था। हॅन्डलूम प्रेमी और अभिनेत्री शबाना आज़मी और भाग्यश्री इस खास कार्यक्रम में मौजूद थे। शर्मिला ठाकरे, अभिनेत्री इंदिरा कृष्णन, और सोशल मीडिया साड़ी इन्फ्लुएन्सर ममता शर्मा दास उर्फ बोहोबालिका सहित कई अन्य हस्तियाँ भी उपस्थित थी।  उन्हें बुनकरों और उनके परिवारों के साथ घुलमिल कर देखने का एक अलग ही आनंद था।

श्रद्धा सावंत ने अपने दो पैठानी बुनकरों के साथ करघे में पूरे बुनाई की प्रकिया का आयोजन कर यह प्रक्रिया कितनी जटील है इसका एहसास कराया।  पैठानी साड़ियों व्यतरित अन्य कई  हैंडलूम साड़ियों जैसे कि बनारसी, चंदेरी, खादी-जामदानी, इकत, जरी, कांजीवरम, और गढ़वाल का भी इस  प्रदर्शन में समावेश किया गया था. ब्रांड के नाम की व्याख्या करते हुए श्रद्धा सावंत ने कहा,"मस्सकली का अर्थ एक पक्षी है, जो स्वतंत्रता, शांती और समृद्धि का प्रतीक हैं- इस त्यौहार के मौसम में हमारे बुनकर समुदाय के लिए मेरी यही की इच्छा है, की वह भी अपने जीवन में ऐसीही उडान भरें।"

बुनाई समुदाय के लिए स्थिति कितनी कठिन है, इस पर जोर देते हुए, उन्होंने कहा, “यह बुनकर कलाकार जबरदस्त प्रतिभाशाली हैं, लेकिन बहुत निर्धन हैं, सभी खरीदारों के साथ संपर्क की कमी के वजह से। वे शहरी दर्शकों द्वारा अच्छे खासे मूल्य के लायक हैं, और उनके लिए उपयुक्त रूप से संरक्षण देना जरुरी है ताकि वे बुनाई की सदियों पुरानी पारंपरिक प्रक्रिया को जीवित रखने में सक्षम हो सकें। इसीवजह से मस्सकली ने इस मोहिंम में प्रवेश किया ताकि उनके जीवन में इस जरिये वो अपनी जिंदगी खुशियाली से बिताये ।  

परंपरा के विलुप्त होने से पहले बुनाई की कला में नए आर्थिक लहर निर्माण करने की कामना करते हुए, श्रद्धा सावंत ने कहा, “हमारी सांस्कृतिक विरासत की रक्षा के लिए ग्रामीण रोजगार प्रदान करने के लिए हैंडलूम उद्योग एक मुख्य वाहन है। मस्सकली के माध्यम से, मैं उन परंपरावादियों को पुनर्जीवित करने की कोशिश कर रही हूं, साथ ही भारत की शानदार सांस्कृतिक विरासत के प्रतीक बुनाई कला को वापस अपने मुख्य स्थान पर मने का प्रयास हैं । "

श्रद्धा सावंत बुनकरों को  पारंपरिक बुनाई के अलावा अनन्य डिज़ाइनर साड़ी कैसे बनाई जाए इसका प्रशिक्षण भी देती  है। “कम से कम, महीने में एक बार, हम व्यक्तिगत रूप से छोटे गांवों का दौरा करते हैं और बुनकरों के साथ बातचीत करते हैं। हम उन्हें नए डिज़ाइन्स की भी कल्पना  देते हैं। इस कृत्य से वे प्रोत्साहित और प्रेरित महसूस करते हैं, “उन्होंने मुस्कुराकर साझा किया। 

“जब हम भारतीय कलाकारों की गरिमा को बनाए रखते हैं, तो हम वास्तव में खुद की मदद करते हैं। हैंडलूम सिर्फ इको-फ्रेंडली नहीं है; यह कार्बन अस्तित्व  को भी कम करता है क्योंकि पुनर्जीवन ग्रामीण प्रवासन को धीमा कर देता है, इसके अलावा हमें सैकड़ों अद्भुत क्षेत्रीय भारतीय बुनाई और तकनीकों के पुनरुत्थान का भी प्रतिनिधित्व करते है। "

प्रख्यात अभिनेत्री शबाना आज़मी हैंडलूम के प्रति प्यार साझा करते हुए कहा, “हैंडलूम के लिए मेरा प्यार मेरे बचपन से उपजा है। मेरी माँ भी भारतीय हैंडलूम साड़ियों की बहुत बड़ी संरक्षक थीं। जब मैंने श्याम बेनेगल की फिल्म "सुस्मान" में एक बुनकर की पत्नी की भूमिका निभाई थी, तो मैंने महसूस किया कि महिलाओं को इस व्यापार में केवल परिधीय स्थिति है। मैं महिला बुनकरों को शामिल करने और उन्हें इस प्रक्रिया में सशक्त बनाने के लिए श्रद्धा सावंत की दिल से सराहना करती हूँ। ”

अगम सौंदर्य के लिए प्रसिद्ध भाग्यश्री ने एक सारगर्भित रहस्य साझा करते हुए कहा, "मेरे पास पैठनी साड़ीयो का भंडार है जो मेरी माँ की है, जो मुझे आशा है कि मेरी बेटी पहनेंगी और उनकी  बेटी किसी दिन पहनेंगी, एक बहुत ही सरल कारण के लिए - कि वे बहुत खूबसूरत हैं ! "

उन्होंने एक अहम् बात कही, "इस तरह की साड़ियों के साथ जो हमेशा के लिए अपनी सुंदरता को बनाए रखती हैं, यह न केवल लोगों के आभूषण हैं, जो हमारे बच्चों को सौंपे सकते हैं, बल्कि ये भी अनमोल रत्न से कम नहीं हैं।" दोनों कलाकारों ने सभी से अपील की वह भी बुनकरों के समर्थन में आगे आएं।

इस बारिश के मौसम में अपने कानों का रखिये ख़याल

बारिश का मौसम अनेक रोगों को आमंत्रण देता है जैसे की डेंगू , मलेरिया, सर्दी और  कान-दर्द जैसे अनेक रोगों का हम आसानी से शिकार हो जाते है, पर यह वक्त ही ऐसा है जो कानों से जुडी अनेक समस्या का कारण होता है।  

ऑडिओलॉजिस्ट-स्पीच थेरपिस्ट और जोश फाउंडेशन की सह-संस्थापक देवांगी दलाल ने कहा, “बारिश में  कान में फंगल संक्रमण सामान्य हैं।  इस तरह के संक्रमण से दर्दनाक खुजली हो सकती है, जो सूती कपड़े और अन्य समान वस्तुओं के साथ खुजली के कारण होने वाले दर्द को बढ़ा सकती है, जिससे संक्रमण से अधिक नुकसान हो सकता है। ध्यान रखें की बारिश के मौसम में फंगल संक्रमण मशरूम की तरह बढ़ता जाता है। यदि आपके कान में एक दिन से अधिक समय से खुजली हो रही हैं, तो विशेषज्ञ से परामर्श करें। "

It is not often that 28-year-olds burst into tears as they cut their birthday cake. But if you are Sulakshana, celebrating her first birthday ever in 28 years, cheered by family of 80 people, and friends, you sure will shed tears of happiness. So the words 80 family members caught your attention. The members we refer to are orphan kids who have come together to celebrate the birthday of one of their own.
Cheering the radiant  birthday girl were celebs of the likes of Anand Mahendroo, Shekhar Suman, Papon, Ismail Darbar, Shrikant Bhartiya, and the beautiful couple Sareeka Gagan and Gagan Mahotra, who made this initiative possible.
"I am overwhelmed," said Sulakshana. "I was abandoned as an infant with my sister, with a note stating our names and birthdays. This is my first celebration in 28 years!"
Sulakshana today dedicates her life to more orphans like her who are at times even reduced to begging on the streets once they are out of orphanages on turning major, and lends them a helping hand.
But little did she expect that on turning 28, she would be adopted by the young couple Sareeka and Gagan Mahotra, who would promise to hold her hand for life!
"It feels wonderful," enthuses Sulakshana unable to hold back her tears. The couple merely puts it as something each of us should do. "We did what we should as we felt that way. There is nothing that is extraordinary in our action. We simply followed our heart,"  echo Sareeka and Gagan Mahotra.
This voice seems to have caught on as filmmaker-entrepreneur Anand Mahendroo not only threw open his Champak Studios in the heart of Andheri to share the sentiments of the couple, but invited his friends to join the children and welcoming them into his fold.
"It feels beautiful. Such initiatives turn this concrete jungle into homes with warm hearts,. There should be more such initiatives and we all should wholeheartedly participate," says an emotional Anand Mahendroo.
Shekhar Suman, Papon, Shrikant Bhartiya and Ismail Darbar who oblige enthusiastic selfies amid  conversations only agree in unison.

Veteran singer Padma Vibhushan Asha Bhosle & granddaughter Zanai Bhosle, along with writer Rajita Kulkarni, announced their songs, in gratitude to the Spiritual & Humanitarian Leader Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar at Pancham Studios, Andheri West. While Asha Bhosle has sung one song, Zanai has sung the other. 

On being asked if Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar knew about the songs, Asha Bhosle expressed, “I’ve not spoken to Gurudev about the songs but I have met him several times. He is very fond of me, just like he is fond of all his other followers.” On why she chose to take up these songs, added the veteran singer, “Not all songs are about romance or love. There are other emotions as well, especially those that connect us to God. And songs in gratitude to Gurudev connect us with God.” Incidentally, Asha Bhosle has also composed the music for the songs!

This is not Zanai Bhosle’s first collaboration with her grandmother! “This song is very close to my heart. She is my grandma! We tour and perform the world over, but when we come back home, she is still my same daadi who cooks my favourite meals for me... Nothing changes,” averred an ecstatic Zanai Bhosle. The young songstress also professed her devotion to Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, saying she feels “blessed” to have sung for him.

Apart from their penchant for spirituality, the grandmother-granddaughter duo share an affectionate bond. “Zanai doesn’t trouble me at all! She cooks food really well and also feeds me with a lot of love. She is well-versed with our sabhyata. She binds our family together. She is also trained in classical dance since the age of seven, apart from having been trained in Indian classical music. And now, she also sings Western Opera too. She has been studying and training and she is just 17!” The legendary singer had the final word.

रोहित वर्मा ने किया आयएसीए २०१९ 'फेस्टिवल ऑफ इंडिया' अटलांटा में भारत का नाम ऊंचा।

इंडियन अमेरिकन कल्चरल एसोसिएशन (IACA), अटलांटा द्वारा आयोजित किए गए २४ वे फेस्टिव्हल ऑफ इंडिया समारोह में, डिजाइनर रोहित वर्मा ने अपने प्रमुख फैशन शो के लिए वाह वाह पायी। महोत्सव के इस संस्करण में रोहित वर्मा द्वारा रनवे पर की प्रस्तुति सफल रही, विशेष रूप से महोत्सव के IACA चेयरपर्सन डॉ. (श्रीमती) पॅडी शर्मा आंतरराष्ट्रीय डिजाइनर रोहित वर्मा के फैशन शो की शुरुआत करने  रनवे पर चली।


आनंदित रोहित वर्मा कहते हैं की, “भगवान कृष्ण ने मुझे जो भी अवसर दिए हैं, उसके लिए मैं उनका सदा आभारी हूं। मैं डॉ. पॅडी शर्मा का शुक्रागुजर हू कि उन्होने मेरी इस फॅशन शो की शुरुआत की और रन वे पर चली, और सच मानो  तो वास्तव में सभी को उन्होने मंत्रमुग्ध कर दिया। ”

रोहित वर्मा २०१९ के इस फेस्टिवल ऑफ इंडिया 'में शो के असली सितारे थे; उन्होंने न केवल अपनी चकाचौंध भरे कलेक्शन दिखाए, बल्कि एक शानदार फैशन शो सादर किया। इस कार्यक्रम के लिए  IACA चेयरपर्सन श्रीमती डॉ पॅडी शर्मा,  श्री एनी अग्निहोत्री और फैशन इवेंट के सह-समन्वयक  किरण अग्निहोत्री भी उपस्थित थी। IACA अटलांटा में भारतीयों का सबसे बड़ा और सबसे पुरानी नफा रहित संस्था है और पिछले २३ वर्षों से वे फेस्टिव्हल ऑफ इंडिया का आयोजन कर रहे हैं।

इस महोत्सव का अध्याय पूरे दिन सांस्कृतिक गतिविधियों से भरा था और अटलांटा के भारतीय वाणिज्य दूतावास एवं स्थानीय राजनेता इतना ही नही, जॉर्जिया के ३००० से अधिक लोग यहां उपस्थित थे।

राजीव एस रुईया निर्देशक और निर्माता रविंदर जीत दारिया की मुश्किल - फियर बिहाइंड यु के प्रीमियर के दौरान आदित्य रॉय कपूर और सिद्धार्थ रॉय कपूर ने भाई कुणाल रॉय कपूर के काम की सराहना की।

निर्माता सिद्धार्थ रॉय कपूर और युवा लाखों दिलों की धडकन आदित्य रॉय कपूर, अपने माता-पिता सलोम और रॉय के साथ कुणाल की पत्नी शयोंती भी शामिल हुई। कुणाल ने इस फिल्म में  पहली बार एक रोमँटिक किरदार निभाया है। लवबॉय फिल्म मुशकिल - फियर बिहाइंड यू के प्रीमियर मे दोनों भाइयों ने परिवार के साथ  कुणाल को उनकी नयी फिल्म के प्रेमियर पर बधाई दी। 

 

कुणाल ने कहा, “मेरा परिवार हमेशा मेरे लिए मददगार रहा है लेकिन वे अच्छे आलोचक भी हैं।  मुझे खुशी है कि हमने एक साथ फिल्म देखी और उन्हें यह फिल्म बेहद पसंद आयी। हॉरर कहानियों के शौकीन लोगों को मुश्किल जरूर देखनी चाहिए।" कुणाल की माँ सलोम को फिल्म बेहद पसंद आई खास तौर से फिल्म की कहानी का अंत उन्हे पसंद आया। जबकि कुणाल कि पत्नी शयोंती रॉय कपूर ने कहा, "कुणाल को रोमांटिक किरदार मे देख के बहुत अच्छा लगा, वैसे मैं इस हॉरर फिल्म से घबरा गई थी लेकिन मुझे इसकी कहानी बेहद पसंद आयी ।"

प्रीमियर पर, कुणाल के माता-पिता, पत्नी और भाइयों के चेहरे पर खुशी और गर्व बहता हुआ देखने को मिला। कुणाल के छोटे भाई आदित्य रॉय कपूर रोमांटिक भूमिका के क्षेत्र में निपुण है ऐसे में  फिल्म 'मुश्किल-फियर बिहाइंड यू' कुणाल कि पहली रोमँटिक फिल्म है। उनकी व्यस्त दिनचर्या को देखते हुए, तीनों भाइयों का एक साथ मिलना मुश्किल हो सकता है, लेकिन प्यार कुछ भी संभव बनाता है।

डॉ. अनिल काशी मुरारका ने कहा, “भारत में तंबाकू का उपयोग एक गंभीर समस्या है। शिक्षा का अभाव और उचित मार्गदर्शन की कमी, सहकारी दबाव और बच्चों में  गलतफहमी, तनाव और अन्य तम्बाकू उत्पादों और विज्ञापनो से  नए  लोग तंबाकू के उपयोग के लिए आकर्षित होते हैं ।और कई वर्षों से उनके उपभोग और दुरुपयोग में लगातार वृद्धि हो रही है । मुझे लगता है कि लोगों को शिक्षित करने का मतलब है कि वे स्वयं खुद की मदद कर सकते हैं
